Balloon Shadow of the Colossus Cosplay by NoOrdinaryBalloonMan Balloon Shadow of the Colossus Cosplay by NoOrdinaryBalloonMan
I just came back from Florida Supercon with one of my best friends Gabriel and I can honestly say that I had quite an adventure! When our original hotel plans fell through, we traveled to Miami, FL on Thursday and checked into possibly the worst hotel I had ever seen (I may have nightmares about it for months) but we were determined to create something incredible, we were making Wander and Valus the Colossus from from Shadow of the Colossus. We both have had a love for this amazing game for years and we decided that we would bring our love of one of the most beautiful and engaging games ever created to life! It took me and Gabriel (whom I am training) around 24 hours over two days to complete and an additional 9 hours in repairs over three days at the convention but it was well worth it! Our Cosplay won 1st place at the costume contest (although the $1000 grand prize would have been nice too:P) and it was so well received that now the convention wants to have me make balloon mascots for Florida Supercon and other related cons in Florida! I must also say that Gabriel as Wander was wonderful, he was very much in character with me as we battled and for his first real balloon art build he did an amazing job helping me, especially helping me inflate and attach the balloon hairs (I also taught him how to make part of one of the arms). I created most of everything else but I know I could not have done it without him! Also I must make a big shot out to my good friend Eddie Brown or Papanotzzi for taking one of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen! Everything from the lighting, to the illusion of motion was perfectly captured in his photography work! If you ever want truly professional cosplay photos and video made, there are few photographers as good as he is! Here is a link to his Facebook! [link] I want to thank everyone for your continued support and I want everyone to know that I will be making many more awesome cosplays in the future!

Thank you very much, you have some impressive work yourself! I try to create things that have not been made before with balloons and challenge myself to make sculptures and costumes that help me become better at my craft!

This is AMAZING! That is just some balloon mastery right there, amazing job! The cosplay is certainly not... over shadowed, though!;D Love the look of the poncho piece!

thank you very much! I worked incredibly hard to make sure that this worked and I drank many Red Bulls, as did my friend Gabriel! He did do some awesome work on the poncho and we are planning on either making ourselves into either Mario/Luigi and Bowser or Link and Ganon!!
